well i have been using P3 computer and i have to start oracle database manually by connecting as sysdba and then using the startup command. does any one know how to start oracle automatically. One good member suggested me to use oradim options but i couldnt know how to do that. can any one tell me how to use oradim options with full command. my SID is orcl.
If you have another way too then please do write to me.
would be very grateful for your support.

Always provide OS and oracle version.
just guess your on windows (becuase in linux we need to start database automatically).
There is two thing
1. automatic oracle services startup ?
2. automatic oracle instance startup ?
if oracle services you can set manually through ORADIM or SERVIES.MSC
if oracle instance startup then you have to set "ORA_SID_AUTOSTART = FALSE" in windows registry.
