Hi Gurus,
I'm trying to take the dump from expdp procedure I have followed all the steps but it is throwing some error :
Exception in Data Pump job
ORA-39001: invalid argument value
ORA-39000: bad dump file specification
ORA-39087: directory name dmpdir is invalid
can any1 tell me.
what is the error???????/

Hi,
For using the Datapump export/import first u have create a directory for expdp and also u can add privileges to that directory if u want,
u will get the error if u export directly without a correct directory destination plse once u check the directory.if it is giving the error with same direcotory just remove the directory and create the another directoryn for expdp.

See, it is working as expdp command but I want to use DBMS_DATAPUMP procedure to export.
there i'm getting this error
