| I am now working as software Engineer in one of the reputed company. I want to know value of DBA persion. Every one of us can write SQL but what is the difference between DBA and me? |

DBA have knowlege of Oracle Architecture,Database design,Oracle internals,backup and recovery process,Oracle installation and configuration.........
DBA- Database Administration
SQL is the only one part of DBA role.

its a liking , if you like coding and debugging developer job is the role
DBA is like admin job installation Conig Backup recovery Etc
As dba you do all these plus tuning which requires great knowledge of coding as well.
