I shutdown my database and then I started it up. it's working fine
but in Nagios (server management s/w) shows
CAN'T DETERMINE ORACLE_HOME for sid ebs.

Then read "readme.txt" file (if any comes) with that particular software.
May be you need to set ORACLE envriourment variable for that software.
1. oracle_home, 2. oracle_sid

Hi,
I have worked with nagios software. Check there are shell script executed /etc/nagios folder. Change environment variable like ORACLE_HOME,ORACLE_SID and PATH as per your requirement.
