hi,
i m running my data on archiving mode, can i get the dump of my database on another machine, but can i start my data till a given date.
means i want to up that dump b4 2 days back ,is it possibe that i can get all the datafile that was till 2 days back.i dont want all work i done within 2 days.
i want to up my database on same senario that was b4 2n days back.

yes you can...
you have to perform POINT IN TIME RECOVERY / INCOMPLETE RECOVERY.
like UNTIL TIME, UNTIL CANCEL, UNTIL SCN.
