 hi

i lost Lost all the member of Current Redo log group.
i m trying to recover this way.
1.Shutdown immediate
2. startup mount
3. RMAN> restore database until SCN 180067
then getting error because of no database back up was there.
i cant open my database up.
i know i will lost all the transaction which belongs to current log group.
even i dont have database backup.
i m worried that how can i open my database.
plz tell me the steps:

Hi Taj
today i m not able to open the database.
while giving the command
SQL>Alter database open
getting error
Oracle Not available.
Shared memory reclaim does not exit.

but i increased the Shared pool size and SGA size.

when i using the command like
CONNECT SYSTEM/MANAGER@PROD AS SYSDBA
ITS connected to the idle instance,but not to oracle.

but i can open the other two database as usual.

plz give me the solution how to up my database.

i m using oracle 9i.

Use "recover database until cancel" It will create lost redo also.

 Time Zone: EDT
