Hi Frnds,
I know this is one of the commonest error but I could not find any solution outfor my problems...
1) There is only one tnsnames.ora file Network\Admin location and the hostname and service name is proper.
2) It is windows os(oracle 9i client) and the db is red hat linux , db being 10g oracle.
3) tnsping is working fine in server but not in clients error being the same as above.
4) I am able to connect the server thru telnet from local pcs and db is running fine.
Pls provide me a soln. Any early resolution will be appreciated. Pls help me out.
