Hi all,
I am getting this error msg from pl/sql code:
ORA-06502: PL/SQL: numeric or value error
ORA-01401: inserted value too large for column
That's it, noting else. I can't see anything in the alert log either.
No trace files either.
I was wondering. How do I find out which value or a column is big/small.
Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
I have access to that code but it is really painstaking job to find wich column is the issue and then go through 200.000 rows (in an XML file) to find the row that is to big for the column.
I toad that there is a way to trace certain events in oracle. i have managed to trace the "ORA-01401" but, there rest of the error stack missing, like which field is not accepting the value.
So if anyone knows how to do this pls. let me know.
