 Hi All,

I want to know that how can one know that till what time oracle 9i tests are taken by oracle.
As I have taken 1 paper and preparing for 2nd and then 3rd.(developer track ocp)but it will take time.because i m working also.i have planed to complete these two remaining paper by the end of this year. But to see the oracle 10g
i think oracle will end test of 9i and my taken test will be worthless then.
I m little bit worried.
I request senior members for help.

Thanks in advance

Rupesh,

It's better to go for 10g certification.I am also 9i OCA and decided not to write remaining two papers.I will go for 10g certifications only.

My thinking is different. Present I am working on Oracle 8i,9i,10g databases. We have more than 250 databases with different version and different platforms. If you cleared lower version exam, after that you should need to learn only new features of new version. It makes us more powerful in knowledge. Present 10g doesn't more popular in market. If you found very stable applications in 9i.
By the way all people has own view and thinking. Think yourself and make decision.
