 Hello,

Are there any tools for tuning indexes in Oracle.
Something like a Index Tuning Wizard.

I came across something like this on google.
Howeever am at a loss to know where to obtain it from.

Oracle offers downloads for the database.
Does it offer downloads for index tuning pack ?

regards
Krylor

Accessing the Index Tuning Wizard
You can access the Index Tuning wizard in the following ways:

From the Oracle Enterprise Manager Tuning Pack tool drawer
Through the Oracle Expert application

See below link
http://download.oracle.com/docs/html/A86647_01/indxtun.htm#1003379

Note:
These options are add-on for Oracle enterprise edition extra cost options.

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.
I just need to use these for a development machine.

Are these available on the Oracle Site for download.
If not are there any other tools that can be used for Index tuning.

I am SQL server guy and dont have much experience with Oracle tools.

Thanks for the help so far

Regards
Krylor
