Hello to Everybody,
I am an electrical engineer and now wants to shift into the database field, for that i had cleared first paper of 1z0-007 in Oracle9i(Application Developer) and trying for next paper(pl/sql) also. So how can i get the job in database as a frsher.Please guide me. |

Read and go through oracle documentation and oracle press book. Those stuffs are only provide you more and depth knowledge and helping to clear OCP exams. Selftest software is also useful for making faster your speed to clear exams.

You can become Oracle DBA by practise and reading only.Just try to install unix based Oracle on your computer and start exploring all the feautures.
Practise in RMAN,Import/Export,SQL*Loader.Learn how to take statspack,AWR,ADDM reports,try to understand that report.

Keep studying....n get papers cleared....post ur resume in jobsites...
I do agree with others, a recruiter will prefer a person to have exp on loaders and specially who got exposure in UNIX/LINUX env....
but still there are jobs for certified freshers in this domain.....
All the best for future...
