developers are not able to compile their procedures, database gets hanged. I've checked alert log file but clear indication.
Thread 1 advanced to log sequence 1106
Thread 1 opened at log sequence 1106
Current log# 1 seq# 1106 mem# 0: /data1/app/oracle/oradata/stgsrv/redo01.log
Successful open of redo thread 1.

sga config.
SQL> show sga
Total System Global Area 303109300 bytes
Fixed Size 451764 bytes
Variable Size 134217728 bytes
Database Buffers 167772160 bytes
Redo Buffers 667648 bytes

there are three redo group each containing one redo member and size of each 100m.

If procedure couldn't compile and get stuck that time kindly check another session is being modify and lock same procedure or being executed same procedure.

Database hung can be have more reasons. Check blocking locks and archive destination.

Dear Monu,
their can be one reason related to Archive Destination, is your database in archive mode , if yes check the destination files ...
Thanks & Regards....
