Hi Friends,
I need to refresh a database from another production database. Could anyone please tell me the proedure for that. I guess will be needing to do an export/import but I am not sure. So please could anyone advice me on this. Thanks

if you want to take data from database A to database B, you can do an export/import operation. what do u want to do exactely?

Well in the request its just mentioned, refresh database 'A' located on server A from Database 'B' located on Server B. I guess they want me to import most recent data from DB A to DB B, but I want to know if anything else is done for refreshing a database.

If you are on Oracle 10g then then you can use datapump for the same.It is same as exp / imp steps but performance wise datapump is more efficient.
