Hi all,
I want to Know the configuration is supported for 10g RAC using VM Ware for the new Laptops for my Personal for Testing Purpose could any one have good Idea who installed 10gRAC & also RHEL A.S.4 with Oracle10g on Laptops that is Fully Supported because some of they saying that the laptops are not fuly supported to work for 10g RAC...

You can install Oracle RAC on laptop.

Support is completly different term.when you are asking Oracle Corporation to resolve your issue that is called support.On laptop,we can't have shared storage,so we need to fake it out by some tricks and Oracle doesn't support this tricks.

Hi Murtuja,
I know the Process of Installing RAC using VMware Technology in Desktop Machines the thing is that i want it to install it in laptop as it is possible that laptops mother board is going to support the 10g rac ?
i came to hear that laptop boards are not well supported for rac & Oracle10g. i want to know that exactly which configuration boards are supported for 10g RAC ?

There is no issue with motherborad or hardware.
