Hi All,
I have a Tablespace TTS and for that TTS i have 3 datafiles tts1.dbf,tts2. dbf,tts3. dbf . And also one of my user is having objects T1,T2 and T3 . Is there any way where the user can move each of the objects to each of the datafiles like :
T1 to tts1.dbf
T2 to tts2.dbf
T3 to tts3.dbf.
I know that we can move a table to a tablespace , but I want to move the table to each of the datafiles in that tablespace . .
Looking for your reply.
Regards,
Raj

For existing tablespace which is containing 3 datafiles, tables moving across the datafiles not possible. But it can possible if you will create new tablespace
Example:
You have table t1 with 30 extents. Size of each extent is 80K. Means total size is 240K.
Create tablespace with 1 datafile with unique extent 80K after that add 2 more datafiles with same pattern.
Now move table in to new tablespace.
Be careful regarding extent size and table size because we should consider datafile's bitmap extent also.
