| Can anyone tell me how i make an auxiliary database, i am not able to figure out steps for it.... IS AUXILIARY DATABASE HELPFUL IN BACKING UP OF ORIGINAL DATABASE TO NEW LOCATION. |

Hi,
If you want to move the database to a new location,you can go for cloning.
You can go for a cold backup cloning.
You can you RMAN
