 Hi ALl,

I would like to find out, is oracle 9i still good to take? My company using 9i and going to send me for the course.

After i complete 9i is it good for taking 10g? or 9i and 10g is totally different course?

Tks

If your company allows you to appear for OCP 10g then it is best way.

If you first complete OCP 9i then you have to write one paper to upgrade to OCP 10g.

1Z0-040 Oracle Database 10g: New Features For Administrators is an upgrade exam to the Oracle 9i DBA.

No, Difference...
Just 10g have more and new features which made DBA work easy :)

Go for 10g and wait for 11g also :)
11g also introduce and may be very soon certification will open for 11gDBA.
