 when i am trying to mount my database giving command:
sql>startup mount pfile='......'
it gives following error:
ORA-01102: CANNOT MOUNT THE DATABASE IN EXCLUSIVE MODE

HOW TO RECOVER FROM IT?

how many databases do you have in the same machine ?

thanx for ur reply gopu... actuall y two database instance were running... so it was showing now its fine......
