Hi guys,
I want to calculate the performance,memory,cpu overhead when th e database is in archive log mode comparing it with database in no archive log mode using performance manager... Can anyone guide me on doing that?

Hi,
Database in archive log mode is not overhead but it's necessity.You can't expect any Production database with archive log mode.

As above said.
there no overhead with archivelog mode but if you running production database in no archivelog mode then you will lost someday most of your important data.

Oracle redo logs are archived when you turn-on archivelog mode, and the overhead relates to the work done by the LGWR and ARCH background processes as they write the redo information.
