Can any one please explain the unix command...
chmod 7555 <filename>. and not chmod 755 <filename.
And what is the difference between the above two commands.? and wr is chmod 7555 used..??

I think first one is wrong command AFAIK.
becuase there is only three attribute
1. read
2. write
3. execute
777
full permission
chmod ---> is command to change permission on file system.
Search on google for more...

when 4 digits are appearing in chmod command that is indication of sticky bit permission for whole group.
