Hi All,
I need query to display the Start Date and End date for giving in period time
for example :
i give period like Quartely then
start Date= ='1-jan-2008' end date ='31-march-2008'
i give period like Semi Anually then
start Date= ='1-jan-2008' end date ='30-june-2008'
please can u help me out.... |

Could u plz be specific... u need a query to display the quaterly data and half-yearly through scripting???

select TRUNC(SYSDATE,'Q'),add_month(TRUNC(SYSDATE,'Q'),3) from dual;
This query will give you quarter start_date and end_date.

Sorry friend, function is add_months and its working fine
