Hi all,
if we have :set ignorecase command in vi editor,
then there must have been other set commands also!!
But they are not available in the vi editor help.
Sir, from where can i find / get these set commands
help which we can use while editing using vi editor?
I also had a problem.
i want to write ESC E in a file.
It is a printer control command.
It can be written using "CTRL [ E" .
( this is written in the printer manual
here ctrl [ is equivalent to ESC)
Now when I am entering in the append/insert mode of vi and pressing ctrl and [ simultaneously. it comes in the command mode.
So how can i write it on file using vi editor?
This command is used for printing in compressed mode

Try this
using vi editor
change mode to insert
then enter ctrl+v,Esc, E
S'hosh
