 Hi

I want to create AFTER UPDATE trigger on a table, wherein if "filedate" field gets changed, the trigger should get fired.

Following code is throwing error:

CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER notify_user
AFTER UPDATE of filedate on <table_name>
for each row
begin
WHEN (new.appl='UCC' and new.stcode='NY' and new.dbflag='UD')

call send_mail

end;

Can somebody please tell me where i have made mistake....?

Thanks in advance.

Syntax of creating trigger is follows

CREATE OR REPLACE TRIGGER <TRIGGER NAME>
{BEFORE /AFTER} {INSTER/UPDATE/DELETE} ON <TABLE NAME>
{FOR EACH ROW} U DIDN'T HAVE TO GIVE COLUM. NAME.
DECLARE

BEGIN

END;

in your case i think you wrote wrong systex.
