HI,
Suppose i am having the BACKUP in /dis2 . I want to copy in tape drives.
What are the steps in LINUX,SOLARIS.

hi,
its very easy to take the backup to the tape from hard drive. in linux use CPIO or TAR command. ur MML third party tool has also provision for it.
