Hi All
I have window vista OS in my laptop. I have installed oracle 10.2.0.3 binary and now i am creating oracle instance using following command. but it shows me errors as follow:
C:\>oradim -new -sid orcl
DIM-00014: cannot open the wondows NT service control manager.
O/S-Error: (OS 5) Access is denied
Help me to solve this issue

Hi
Are you Login as a Administrator or is your account in ora_dba Group?
If not please login as administrator or make your account first in ora_dba group.

Hi,
And please make sure next time you will post your questions in right forum because this forum is for Oracle on Unix/Linux. Not windows. . .
