 Hi,


I am getting the error while installing the oracle on RHEL5...
PLease help...
I have installed java X11. But still getting the error....

It seems that xclock is not working in that session.
Just type xclock n see whether its working or not?

If its not working thn logout fron that session n login as oracle user n try the same command again...xclock. you can only launch the run installaer when xclock is woking fine.

OR

launch the runinstaller in any windows machine which is in network with the linux machine. For that u need to export the DISPLAY variable as below-

export DISPLAY=10.27.34.45:0.0

here the ip is of ur windows machine. After that u should be able to launch it in ur windows machine.
