you dont need to do sthng for deadlock, when oracle realizes a deadlock, it will handle it automatically and solve the deadlock problem by killing the session/sessions.

Oracle automatically detects deadlocks and resolves them by rolling back one of the statements involved in the deadlock.The session that is rolled back will observe Oracle error: ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource.
