hi all
i got the following error messege while starting up the database
"svrmgrl:error while loading shared libraries:libwtc8.so:cannot load shared object file:No such file or directory
./start: lsnrct1:command not found
Oracle$> svc:bad direction 65536, dropping request
svc: bad direction 65536, dropping request.
i am using oracle 8i on redhat linux
plz help me to sort out the problem |

From the search of google saami, I got the information that this issue is due to network problem. hence, ask your network team for the assistance or else, you may have to recompile your kernel. Unfortunately this is a kernel level error and does not give specific information about what could be causing it
