In my company we are going to implement a standby database.
so i need to know how to configure the standby server.
and i am interested to know how it works.

Hi
It is difficult for any body to give full details how a standby data base can be configured or works. As a prerequisite, you read Oracle 9i documentation for Dataguard conepts, learn it and configure it on your home pc or laptop. If you still have any doubts, then ask help form us.
