According to MNC what are all the backups u guys take in the realtime scenario?
Explain what type of backups u are using in the realtime scenario?

Hi Seenu,
The backup statergy in companies varies. Its all depends on their respective clients. As a DBA we should have knowledge on all the backup type say user managed backup like hot/cold backup, exp/imp..etc similarly system managed backup which is RMAN. So, there is no standard procedure for backup statergy.

Hi Vino,
We have to take both system managed backups and user managed backups in the realtime scenario.
Am i right?

No Seenu. Most of the companies will go for any of the backup type either manual or system managed backup bcoz of cost and time.
