 hi m a btech fresher
i am planning to go for ocp certification.
I inquired about the various courses for ocp dba , i figured out oracle on linux would be better(for knowledge purpose too).
I have knowledge of sql and dbms.

Can anyone plz guide me whether the course would be helpful(as i m quite confused coz its very expensive , around 55000 for 4-5 months and they are teaching oracle 9i), or simple oracle courses for windows from NIIT or so would do.

Are there any jobs right now for freshers in this field, coz of the downfall period, there is quite shortage of jobs in other field

Is there any problem if i do 9i or should i look for 10g or 11g(job point of view)
is knowledge of sql and dbms enough to appear in the first exam (1Z0-007) ?

Thanx

Hi Neo,

Doing Certification without sufficient knowledge on oracle will won't do.. Therefore, you have to be strong in the subject bfore you facing it.. Hence, learn the subject and face the xam. Al the best..

Regarding the Job for freshers is quite low...

Regards..
