Is there any specific problem that you have with the installation?

On windows it should be straight forward.

As far as order goes, install database first.

We should install oracle9i first, Because when we install Forms 6i some components require oracle database components.

u can install anu one u want. but do use differnt "ora homes"
like orahome90 for db , and orahome91 for developer and in database the name of global database must be orcl.world and sid must be orcl.
as u r begginer it will keep u away from complexities.
good luck
