Hi,
Unix operating system is more suitable for oracle server configuration than windows os.
Cause we can size the SGA max up to 100% in unix environment where as in windows environment we can size the SGA max upto only 30 to 35% of total momery.
Is this true?
whether yes or no ,
Can u please add some more points that will add my knowledge.

Well, in any operating system you can not use 100% of its memory for SGA since OS also need some memory for its operation. I prefer Unix for Oracle for various reasons. Unix has better memory management features than windows.
