 Dear All,
(my email id is mgnanamani@gmail.com)
Can anybody help me out in installing Oracle 10g in Fedora Core 4. I already read the information from Vigyan (from the same forum but my problem is different)
I checked all the information available at the help file of oracle-xe-10.2.0.1-1.0.i386.rpm downloaded from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/database/xe/htdocs/102xelinsoft.html

When I finally ran ./runInstaller like,
[oracle@mani database]$ ./runInstaller
I got the following error message. I tried SELINUX=disabled also but that too resulted in the same error message. Could anyone please help me out to resolve this problem?

My machine was initially with the default Java 1.4 but later I over installed with Java 5.0. Is it a cause for my problem?

Hi,
Try changing the default security context by the following command

chcon -t texrel_shlib_t /usr/local/rsi/idl_6.1/bin/bin.linux.x86/*.so
