i had created a non system tablespace and then created a new user assigning the new tablespace as default to that user.
now when i am trying to insert a row inside the table created inside the
new tablespace by this user,i am unable to do so and receving the error
"ora-1552 cannot use rollback segment for nonsystem tablespace"
plz help me i am very upset due to this problem |

Problem is System Rollback Segments cann't be used for other Tablespaces.
1. First Create Roll Back Segments.
2. Take the roll back segments online.
Then you can insert the data.

Hi, which version of oralce u are using,
Fron 9i onwards rollback segments are managed automatically...
you need not to create and assign anything for them..
