 Hi All,
working as a sys admin, would like to take
OCP, need to your advice/experience, which one 9i or 10g
is more relevant for today's market.

Ocp on 9i most popular and is offered by all the training inst.
If you have confidence for 10g, It is better to upgrade your ocp from 9i to 10g will be better.

Studing for an obselete version of a qualification is almost always a bad idea. When Oracle decide to retire the track (check with them to see if they have a date yet) you will need to pass the exams before a cut off date if you miss it you'll need to start over again on the 10g track. Not to mention when 11 comes out you'll need to upgrade anyway. A 10G OCP DBA qualification will be out of date soon enough. So don't make your task even harder by starting with old versions unless you have an exceptionally good reason.

agree, but still most of the companies using 9i even I can
see some companies asking for 8i though not much.
