| Letz say I want to audit a table T1, i.e if any value of a column c1 of T1 is changed, I want to record the changes in the table Change1. So I write a trigger on T1 (on insert, update and delete). Suppose one of the updates to C1 of T1 failed, I want to include that also in Change1. Will the trigger get executed even if the DML operation fails? I would like to know a little more about trigger execution pattern. Thanks a bunch. |

If a DML operation fails , this trigger will not record.Only successfull operations will be logged. For failed operations ,Enable fine grain auditing.
