for a precision of NUMBER(2,2)
VALUE IN INSERT STATEMENT ACTUAL VALUE IN TABLE
12.3 12
1.2 1.2
1.343 1.3
1234.00 INSERT FAILS
THIS IS BECAUSE PRECISION OF (2,2) ACCEPTS TOTAL NUMBER OF 2 DIGITS WITH MAXIMUM OF 2 DIGITS TO THE RIGHT OF DECIMAL.
