we are using rman and policy for backup is
we are running hot backup daily
RMAN>backup database plus archivelog;
archivelog daily
RMAN>backup archivelog all;
controlfile backup is happening daily as i set
CONFIGURE CONTROLFILE AUTOBACKUP ON;
Please suggest is this right method or needs to add something else
and cold backup we are taking on sunday without RMAN

Looks ok .But try to clone the DB from the backup you have taken .that givens to confidence to you backup and recovery strategy.

but for cloning i want to do this on another server and on that server mount points are different so how to process about
