A Question ->
A DBA needs to create a new user in the database, What is the first thing that the DBA has to do towards the new users ? Select one
1)Granting privileges and roles
2)Creating user's database objects and granting privileges on these objects
3)Password authentication and granting privileges
4)Password authentication and creating user's database
2) and 4) are ruled out completely but I am confused with the 1st and the 3rd option.
I know tht the DBA needs to create user first and then grant him the grant session privilege . Does creating user comes under password authentication ???
Kindly help me to select the correct answer.

I would agree with you, that you do the password stuff when you create the user - and afterwards you grant roles&privs
