When I try to Import Oracle 9i data through Oracle 8i Utility, error occured:
I can Import Oracle 8i Data using Oracle 9i IMP utility but cannot import Oracle 9i Data using Oracle 8i IMP utility.

import from a higher version with a lower version utility is not advisable. But there is a way we can do it With the help of catexp.sql.I m not sure how much it will be helpful to u...

I think catexp.sql wont help you out in that case. This is just my stupid guess. I used Copy command some long back..but not sure in which scenario i used that....If there is a connection between source and target database, try using COPY command.
