 Amigos:
I am getting ready for the 1Z0 007 exam, and have been using the Couchman text. Now , I am reading the Sybex (Dawes) book and find that there is a lot of material that is not included in the Couchman text.

Has anyone here used both texts? How do they compare? I am scoring average 85% in practice tests with SelfTest software - but with Sybex my scores are much much lower. What to do?

Hi all,

I'm new on dbapool. My name is Damian. I'm from Poland.
I cleared Oracle 9i OCA exams + 032 Fundamentals II.
I used Sybex books and Oracle Press materials. This combination covered every single topic for this exams (I cleared exams above 85%). I really recommend Sybex books.

Regards

Thanks to all - I think the real problem is deciding when to register for the exam.
It will have to be someday this week so I reckon maybe tomorrow. Im constantly scoring around 85% each practice exam, so maybe its time.

Cheers

But one great difference I find is that Sybex has heaps of material on functions where Couchman just seems to skim over them.
