Normal users like HR, SCOTT do not have access to data dictionary views
etc. However, then can login into the system as SYSDBA through the command -
connect hr/hr as sysdba;
connect scott/tiger as sysdba;
Also, when logging as SYSDBA, they can provide any password for connectivity i.e. the password is not checked.
By doing this, they can view the dictionary tables and perform other operations that are not enabled for them.
How, can we avoid them from logging as sysdba. |
