Hi Everybody,
I am facing this error during installation oracle 8.1.7 on redhat linux 9.
"Error in invoking target install of makefile /opt/oracle/product/9.2.0/ctx/lib/ins_ctx.mk"
Please help me to solve this problem.

Follow thses steps..
Action:
1. Open $ORACLE_HOME/ctx/lib/env_ctx.mk file for editing.
2. Find and alter the line "INSO_LINK =", add a "$(LDLIBFLAG)dl" to the line.
Example:
INSO_LINK = -L$(CTXLIB) $(LDLIBFLAG)m $(LDLIBFLAG)dl $(LDLIBFLAG)sc_ca $(LDLIBFLAG)sc_fa $(LDLIBFLAG)sc_ex $(LDLIBFLAG)sc_da $(LDLIBFLAG)sc_ut $(LDLIBFLAG)sc_ch $(LDLIBFLAG)sc_fi $(LLIBCTXHX) $(LDLIBFLAG)c -Wl,-rpath,$(CTXHOME)lib $(CORELIBS) $(COMPEOBJS)
3. Click the 'Retry' button to continue.
