hi
Any body can u give me some idea about partition clause ,exists ,over (),
over (partition by v)how to use these words in querys and when to use ...?
please give me some idea and examples if it's possible....

These type of queries are called Analytical queries,generally used for report generation purpose.
"Partition" is alternate to "group by" and more flexible.
example:
SELECT deptno "Deptno", ename "Ename", sal "Sal",
SUM(SAL)
OVER (PARTITION BY deptno
ORDER BY ename
ROWS 2 PRECEDING) "Sliding Total"
FROM emp
ORDER BY deptno, ename
