 Hello,

I was asked " How do you find the name of the database at the OS level in UNIX/LINUX. And also how do we find how many databases are there in the server at the OS level"

Can somebody throw light on this.

1) echo $ORACLE_SID

2) ps -ef|grep ora_

3) /etc/oratab in Linux
