Hi All,
I am getting this error while trying to connect to the RMAN target database. Any idea?
rman catalog xxxx/xxxx@xxxx target xxxx/xxxx@xxxx
Recovery Manager: Release 8.1.7.0.1 - Production
RMAN-00571: ===========================================================

Do this..
1. set remote_login_passwordfile = exclusive and create the password file if you dont have it.
2. grant sysdba to the rman user in target database.
It should work..
Let me know if this does not work.
