Hi,
I am installing Oracle 10.2.0.2 in HPUX11i platform where 9.2.0.7 is already running.
I want to install 10gR2 in the same HPUX server without disturbing 9i database.
when I run the ./runInstaller I get the follwing error :
./runInstaller:/softwares/OraDB10g/10202_database_HP-Tru64/database/install/.oui: Execute permission denied.
wherein I have give the full permissions to all the folders and files and that the owner of these installation files is oracle:dba
Please help me. |

Means you don't have permission of CD mount point. Ask system admin to give this permission and start again. Remember that you must have to install oracle10 in another ORACLE_HOME.
