I passed the Fund.I today. I would like to know what the next step is.
When does Oracle send the certificate?
How can I find a way to use the Oracle logo on my resume?
Thanks for any help. God am I relieved to have passed this!

What about the logo? I heard you can get the logo to put on your resume is that right?
Praveen - the exam was hard (for me). I took it two weeks ago and got 51%. Yesterday I did it and got 70%
There were maybe 3 (only) questions about Dictionary Views. A lot about User Creation. Only 1 about Data Character Set. Roles, profiles, privileges were also tested. Control file and .... well, you'll see. Taking it second time was much better for me - obviously. I am so relieved its over !

Tips for preparation:
study every single line in the book (I have Sybex and Couchman).
if there is anything you dont get, make sure you do before the exam.
if you fail the exam (like i did) dont worry - its better the next try.
dont listen to all the negative forces out there who say "OCA is worthless" , or " you have to get OCP before anyone will take notice" .
be nice to those around you while you are studying and under pressure.
also, buy your own materials and dont expect (illegal) copies to be sent. "brain dumps" are not the answer: they only give questions, they dont test you on concepts. if you have internet access, then why not check the Oracle docs? they are excellent to help you get the bigger picture. Get both of the books I mention here (if you dont have the cash - well, neither do I. I have no job and my wife is pregnant - I borrowed the money to pay for the exam fees, and the books I bought second hand (from Amazon - just 10% of the original price).
also, get a hold of Self Test Software - its expensive, but worth it.
Good luck! You know you can do it.

I got these two books:
Oracle Press , and Sybex Press. Did the SQL first, then the Fundamentals. It all took me 5 months of learning it on my own.
Self-Test CD (at $200 it was expensive but worth it) also.
And check out the Oracle site forums and Oracle docs online (the docs especially)
Good luck.
