There is no need to take TEMP tablespace or TEMP files offline if they are locally managed.

The tempfiles does not have any reference in the data dictionary. The information in the temp files used and destroyed every time you start up and shut down the database.

Hope it helps.

Navi,

we can bring the Tablespace offline.
Use ,

ALTER TABLESPACE <TABLESPACE_NAME> OFFLINE;

But you can't bring a datafile OFFLINE unless Media recovery is enabled.

thanks,
Sri

Navi,
Go through this,

Taking Default Temporary Tablespace Offline :

Tablespaces are taken offline to make that part of the database unavailable to other users (for example, an offline backup, maintenance, or making a change to an application that uses the tablespace). Becuase none of these situations apply to a temporary tablespace, you cannot
take a default temporary tablespace offline.
